The Nervous System Is The Master Controller Of The Human
Body. Every cell, tissue and organ is under control of the
nervous system. It affects the body as a whole, not as individual
parts. If there is interference to the nervous system, the body
is not going to function properly.
At Rolnick Chiropractic, we use the
newest technology to assess your nerve system function, along
with a hands on analysis of posture, movement and spinal function.
Only after a detailed case history, thorough consultation and
comprehensive testing will we determine the best course of care
for your needs. In addition to our chiropractic exams, a full
wellness assessment may be done as well. X-rays are ordered
if found necessary.
Philosophy
You Were Born To Be Healthy. Over 100 years ago, the Chiropractic Profession was founded on one basis principle — the body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism — and the nervous system is the master controller of this process. You were born to be healthy. If you are not experiencing true wellness, something is interfering with the process. The nervous system is the interface between outside stress and your body's resistance to that stress. Over time, physical, chemical and emotional stress take it's toll on the nervous system and consequently the rest of the body. One by one parts begin to break down. Rather than take care of individual parts, Chiropractors take care of the whole.
Art
The Chiropractic Adjustment Is The Art Of Chiropractic. It is the adjustment which reduces the nerve interference so your body can heal itself as it is meant to.
There are 3 approaches to the Adjustment. Chiropractic intimately involves itself with the skeletal system, muscle system and nervous system. All techniques involve all 3 systems, however, they are differentiated by their analysis and method of correction. Segmental or skeletal system techniques focus on adjusting vertebrae to a more normal position and in so doing affect the nervous and muscle systems. Postural or muscle system techniques involve putting tension on or relaxing muscles so a structural adjustment can take place. This affects the muscles first, then the skeletal system and finally the nervous system.
Tonal or nervous system centered techniques focus on the nervous
system and related changes in a person's physiology. Tonal techniques
affect the nervous system first, which then affects the muscle
system and finally the skeletal system.
