Your initial visit is an opportunity for the doctor to begin to understand your health issues and determine if Chiropractic can help you. You’ll need to bring your "Personal Health History"
You’ll meet with our New Patient Coordinator who will discuss your health concerns with you and perform a preliminary nerve scan using the Insight Millenium diagnostic tool.
Then, the Doctor will review your case history with you and do her "hands on" exam to determine if you have a Chiropractic problem and if further testing is needed. Other tests include range of motion, posture and bilateral scales.
Initial findings will be explained at that time. A second appointment, or Report Visit, will be scheduled at which time Dr. Rolnick will explain the additional findings, ask you about your goals and give you options for care.
NOTE: To begin improving your life through Chiropractic, our Personal Health History forms are available to view and print as Adobe .pdf files. Click here to Get Adobe Reader.
We do not start your care until the Doctor has made a complete evaluation of all her findings and she is certain that you understand the nature of the underlying problem and what is involved in correcting it. Usually this is at the time of the your second visit.
The Doctor will review all her findings with you. She will explain options for care and based on your decision, care will begin on that visit.
Insight Millenium is state-of-the-art technology which is used to objectively help Chiropractors detect areas of nerve disturbance, document and monitor results, and deliver the appropriate Chiropractic Care.
The purpose for administering these tests is to detect and pinpoint abnormal function in the nervous system.
The two standard test will measure:
1) SEMG - the amount of electrical current in the muscles
2) Thermography - skin temperature along the spine which is a measurement of autonomic nerve system function
With Insight Millenium, patients are able to actually see bodily changes, and it will be easier to understand the amount and type of care you are receiving.
Because of this technology, we can provide a "tailor-made" program to meet each patient's specific health needs.
Nerve interference created by physical, chemical and emotional stress which limits the body's ability to respond to further stress.
Our office is considered out of network with health insurance plans. However, some of our patients have success with self-submitting claims for reimbursement. Our office is happy to print out individual invoices or super bills that summarize the care you’ve received and payments you’ve made.
